This course uses a series of hands-on exercises to illustrate the wide array of functionality available to end users in IBM PIanning Analytics Workspace. Through the exercises you will learn how to use end user functionality and work through examples of ways in which this incredibly flexible platform can be used to explore and understand the data in your organisation’s Planning Analytics applications.
The course uses a pre-built IBM Planning Analytics model to ensure that all the reporting options are illustrated effectively and allows you to explore and manipulate the model without worrying about making changes to your organisation’s Planning Analytics model.

This course has been designed to give maximum learning and development capabilities to Administrators of the IBM Planning Analytics/Cognos TM1 10.2.2 Architect. This three-day course is based on a Profit & Loss case study enabling trainees to gain great understanding of fundamental building blocks, best practices and techniques which they can then relate back to in their own business environment.
This training was developed using IBM Cognos TM1 10.2.2 but is applicable to both IBM Cognos TM1 v10.2 and IBM Planning Analytics.
Good understanding of Excel, knowledge of TM1 or OLAP would be advantageous. An understanding of your Business Requirement’s, metrics and drivers.

The course will also introduce to the Administrator the power of IBM Cognos TM1 Performance Modeler and TM1 Applications.
Working on a pre-built IBM Cognos TM1 model you will learn how to analyse and enter data in TM1. Create and customise reports and templates and Contribute to plans. Enter and review data in Microsoft Excel and on the Web. Communicate with TM1 to create reports and forms in Microsoft Excel.

This two-day course is based on a pre-defined data package enabling trainees to build on their experience of report building techniques using dimensional datasets. Trainees will work through hands-on demos and exercises to gain understanding of authoring reports using dimensional data structures using the dimensional techniques and functions of Report Studio.
This course builds on topics leaned in the fundamentals course. The advanced course is designed for professional report authors to learn advanced report building techniques using mostly relational data models, and ways of enhancing, customizing, and managing professional reports. Attendees will participate in interactive demos and workshops that illustrate key concepts while learning how to use the product.
This course has been designed to give maximum learning and development capabilities to Professional users of IBM Cognos Cube Designer. It provides delegates with introductory to advanced knowledge of how to model metadata for predictable reporting and analysis results using IBM Cognos Cube Designer. This course has been designed to give maximum learning and development capabilities to Business Analysts and end users of IBM Cognos Insight 10.2.1. This one-day course enables trainees to get hands-on with this desktop tool to import and analyse external data sources, create their own workspaces, explore charts and create IBM Cognos TM1 Cubes by connecting to an existing IBM Cognos TM1 server.
