Rounding-up 2020

Firstly and most importantly, I’d like to thank you, our customers, for your tremendous support during the hideous year which was 2020.  We are truly grateful.  Whilst we haven’t been able to enjoy our usual events and social time together, I hope that our ethos of “treat customers like friends” has continued to shine through and that the collaborative, customer-focussed culture we try our best to achieve is still evident.  If you don’t feel it is though, please do let me know.

We’ve proud not to have laid off or furloughed any of our team.  Quite the opposite in fact; we invested in three new members of our senior leadership team whom you can read about here.  We also used the spare capacity of our consultants to create new Sempre solutions which we’ll be talking to you about in the New Year. In addition, we’ve been busy writing blogs which you can find on the new blog section of our website – these include our reviews of the latest IBM software versions and why being business ready with the right agile solution keeps organisations ahead of unpredicted change – check out more in this newsletter. We’ve upped our activity on LinkedIn too – if you don’t already follow us please do so here in order to keep seeing our latest blogs and news.

Enough about 2020 – let’s look forwards!  That’s something we’ve been doing all year with a focus on building and positioning Sempre for an exciting future.  Whilst we continue to do the great work that we’re so experienced at, we are increasingly looking to expand our conversations and thinking to look at how we can help you achieve better business outcomes through the intelligent use of data.  Whether that’s increasing your financial resilience to handle the rapids shifts we are learning to expect; improving your operational efficiency to help optimise return on people, processes and resources; or making smarter decisions to help you secure your future, Sempre is able to support you along the way.  Have a look at our website in January to see our latest messaging about our capabilities and delivery options.

Right now, however, we are delighted to announce our new partnership with DataRobot, the leading end-to-end enterprise AI (Auto ML) platform that automates and accelerates the path from data to value by applying AI to solve business outcomes.  With an impressive global customer base and positioning as a Visionary in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Data Science and Machine Learning platforms, they are an exciting addition to Sempre’s portfolio.  Read more here.

We continue to work with the other leading technologies on the market – Informatica (who’ve just been placed as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Metadata Management Solutions for the fith consecutive year) and Automation Anywhere who recently announced their new Automation Anywhere Robotic Interface, in addition to the continued strategic and solution-based work with IBM PA (TM1) and CA, both of which have had superb updates in 2020.   We are also experienced in Anaplan and PowerBI, winning new long-term projects to help organisations extract maximum value from these technologies.
